Network for New Music’s special 30th anniversary party and performance, with the unveiling of an entertaining hybrid work, created by 30 of Philadelphia’s finest composers. The model for this new work is the “Exquisite Corpse” Dadaist parlor game, where artists or poets draw or write a fragment on a piece of paper, fold it and pass it on to a new creator who only sees the previous fragment before adding his/her own creation. NNM invited 30 composers, including Jeremy, to each create 6 measures of a larger work (“made by all and not by one!”) which will emerge in a fantastical form and be performed by theS Network Ensemble. Tickets are available here.
